Apple Pancake Rings

Salted Caramel Apple Pancake Rings

A great little pancake snack idea... whilst keeping the doctor away, what more could you want. Also an unreal way to trick kids into eating more fruit!

Category - Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of Salted Caramel Protein Pancake Mix
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 Large Apple

Toppings / Fillings

  • Maple Syrup

Method / Directions

  1. Prepare the Apple: Slice the large apple into rings, removing the core from each ring. Set aside.
  2. Mix the Batter: In a bowl, combine the Salted Caramel Protein Pancake Mix with water. Stir until well combined and smooth.
  3. Heat the Pan: Place a non-stick frying pan on medium heat.
  4. Cook the Pancake Rings: Dip each apple ring into the pancake batter, ensuring it's fully coated. Place the coated apple rings in the pan.
  5. Flip and Cook: Cook each side for about 4 minutes, or until golden brown and the batter is fully cooked.
  6. Serve: Place the cooked pancake rings on a plate. Drizzle with maple syrup for added sweetness.
