Our story
Hi, I'm Luke. I had the idea for TPP in early 2020 whilst struggling to whip up DIY recipes and wasn't satisfied with other options.
It took us over a year to finally get everything ready to launch, but by starting out just trying to solve a problem for myself we were able to create a delicious protein pancake mix.
On June 1st 2021 we finally launched online! Although it took around a year of development, it was worth taking the extra time to perfect our pancakes.
Time to grow!
At this time it was still a one-man-band and I was hand mixing pancake mix, bagging and dispatching every order myself. 😮💨
To keep up with demand, I made a tough decision to quit my job as a pilot and go all-in on pancakes (best decision ever)!

New products
2023 was by far our biggest year yet. We introduced you to a new flavour; Cookies & Cream and added our very own line of Pancake Accessories.
We wanted to make the whole pancake process, faster & easier, so our utensils are thoughtfully designed around this.
Cookies & Cream rose through the rankings to become our 2nd best selling flavour to the powerhouse, Buttermilk.

Expansion
I finally got the help I needed with some of the best people I know joining the TPP family (these legends are pictured).
In late 2024 I finally got a break from daily pancake blending and order packing when we moved operations to something more robust & reliable for the future.
Throughout 2024 I had laid the foundation for outsourcing our blending to a larger Victorian facility and finding a logistics partner to handle the order fulfilment side of things. It was finally time to pull the trigger... scary!
A taste for what's to come 👀
This year the investments we made in 2024 have enabled us to double our customer base, service more countries and expand MUCH more than I could have ever handled from our previous site.
Our amazing team has flourished and scaled to handle all the extra work.
Let's just say I'm a very VERY proud flipper.
The Future
Outsourcing production has freed up my time so that I can focus on creating awesome new products for you guys, such as; The Waffle Maker, Maple + Cinnamon Churro Flavoured Pancakes, Gluten Free Pancake Mix and something syruppy (coming very soon).

Natural Ingredients & Quality
We are sick of picking up packets and reading the never ending list of nasty added ingredients on the back. It was important to us to make our mix from simple, natural ingredients without adding all the extra junk.
Australian Manufacturing & Aussie ingredients are forever getting squeezed upwards. It is our goal to continue using as many Aussie Ingredients as possible and we will always be made in Australia.
All of our pancake mixes are made in Victoria, Australia with the highest Aussie % as we can manage.
We believe in Transparency. If you ever want to chat about our ingredients, products, accessories... just say the word!
Reducing our footprint.
TPP was built from the ground up with sustainability in mind. We have always had a strong focus on the materials and processes we use in our production. Some of the ways we are helping to reduce our footprint are:
1. Recyclable packaging through REDcycle, see here for more information.
2. The exclusion of a plastic scoop within our product. (everyone has a 1/4 cup measurement or scales!)
3. Sustainable and 100% recyclable shipping packaging... even the tape!
We will keep looking for ways to be reduce waste & use innovative packaging solutions as soon as viable.
