Let's talk Non Toxic

Let's talk Non Toxic

We can't preach about natural ingredients then send you 'toxic' pancake accessories.

You can stress-less with our Non Toxic (no PFOA or PFAS) Pancake Pan, it's an aluminium core with a thick, chemical-free Ceramic Coating. What's so good about that?

  1. Ceramic coating is naturally non-stick... like really non-stick, you barely need any butter and your pancakes will still flip seamlessly
  2. It conducts heat really well - aka less time to reach optimal-pancake-temperature
  3. No PFOA / PFAS means no forever chemicals on your cookware that can seep into your food!

Any trade offs? Well ceramic coating can be more delicate and wear quicker over time.

So what can you do to help your pan have a long life?? Clean with a soft cloth and try to gently wipe clean rather than aggressively scrubbing!

The Waffle Maker

Now let's talk non-stick coating on the Waffle Maker. We have tested & certified that our Waffle Maker surface is PFOA and PFAS free.

You might be thinking... how can it be non-stick and non-toxic?!

Traditional non-stick coatings often relied on PFAS chemicals like PFOA to create that ultra-slick, long-lasting surface.
> Without those chemicals, we’re using a safer alternative—a silicone based coating—which is better for health and the environment.
> But the trade-off is that these PFAS-free coatings can be more delicate. For example, they might not hold up as well over time, especially if the surface gets scratched or if it’s not cared for properly.

That’s why we are cautious in operation and recommend using a wooden or silicone spatula to remove waffles and cleaning the waffle maker gently to avoid damaging the coating.

Why is The Flipper wooden?

Because f*** microplastics and f*** damaging your pots & pans with every flip (sorry to be confronting... as you can tell we are passionate about this lol).

  • Although there might be a slight trade off for not having the thinnest lip on the wooden flipper, we've made it as good as we can for a wooden utensil and we think it's a great trade!

The small things add up to overall better health. Let's keep chemicals & microplastics out of your f***ing (flipping) pancakes.

But The Scraper is silicone?

Yes, but that's for removing batter from your mixing bowl silly! So because it's not getting damaged or heated it should be safe. Plus, it's a hard trade off for the functionality of getting all that precious batter into pan.

  • They are still heat-resistant and are a more durable type of 'plastic' so better than a typical hard-plastic spatula.
