Salted Caramel Apple Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of Salted Caramel Protein Pancake Mix
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 Apple 

Topping 

  • 1 tablespoon of Misty’s Salted Caramel

  • ¼ cup of mixed nuts

Method / Directions 

  1. Thinly slice your apple.

  2. Mix up the Salted Caramel protein pancake mix and the water to make a smooth but thick batter. (will work better if it’s a little thicker this time)

  3. Preheat a large pan and add some butter or coconut oil.

  4. Dip your thin apple slices into the batter and transfer them to the pan (hold the bowl over the pan to avoid dripping batter everywhere lol)

  5. Cook until golden brown on both sides, flipping just like a regular pancake. You won’t be able to see the bubble forming as well as the apple will prevent this.

  6. Top with Salted Caramel sauce and the mixed nuts.
