Hello my lovely pancake people,
An honest update.
We have been gradually wearing more and more Cost of Good increases for the last few years... as we haven't raised our pricing on our 520g and 1kg bag since our 2021 launch! (only Stacks were increased over time slightly)
These increases have hit us particularly in the last 12 months. Hence, you may have started to see some price tweaking around the site in the last couple months.
I tried to absorb the cost increases for as long as possible but now it is starting to detriment the business.
Why?
Most of the pressure has come from rising dairy costs, though the rest of our ingredients, shipping, and packaging have all crept up too.
Particularly as we use a high % of Australian ingredients and remain made in Australia, and Aus manufacturing is getting ever more expensive. 🇦🇺😭
How it effects you.
- Base 520g and 1kg bags have gone up to $35.00 and $59.00 respectively.
- Stacks (bundles) have had associated increases.
- The Stacks did start off in 2021 with a bit too much discount (whoops 😬). However, as you probably have seen those have slightly risen over time. They still reflect a good saving over buying individual bags. Please see the below table for new pricing and the respective discount for bundles.

I absolutely refuse to budge on our quality.
Because of this stubbornness on quality, it has hurt us more than brands that can potentially pivot their products. For instance, reformulating away from WPI for WPC or similar sort of trade offs.
I hate to pass on this price increases to you, the consumer, but unfortunately that's the way of inflation... you guys get hit last. I could have a whole rant about inflation... but here's not the place. 😂
